TSC Hi-Capa Magazine Base (Type C / Black) Review

For use with Tokyo Marui, WE and KJ Hi-Capa magazines; this series of caps are replacement bases for said magazines. CNC Machined from Aluminium, these bases are strait forward enough but are available in different colors (black, grey, purple and blue) finishes with particular designs engraved into them (hatch, lines, triangles and dots). For the most part the designs are just for eccentric stylistic flare for race guns besides being more durable bases than plastic ones and lighter than steel ones. Otherwise, you could theoretically use the different colors and designs as markers to identify individual magazines. With uniquely marked bases, magazines mounted in holsters could easily be identified at at glance which is which. This can be important for marking your better or worse magazines or even marking out special ones such as which ones are HFC, Green, Red or CO2 gas and even different kinds of ammo (0.12, 0.2, 0.25, 0.3, etc.).
